Our mission
For manufacturers and healthcare professionals, EndoVx offers an integrated solution for optimized treatment of aortic aneurysms, combining AI, 3D printing, and digital simulation.
Clinical context
- An aortic aneurysm is a permanent abnormal dilation of the arterial diameter which can develop in any section of the aorta—thoracic, abdominal, or thoracoabdominal.
- Abdominal aortic aneurysms are the most common with an estimated prevalence between 1 and 2% in women and 4 to 8% in men over 65 years.

7.6% of men

Existing treatments
- Once an aneurysm reaches a critical diameter surgical repair is required.
- Via open surgery, the diseased segment of the aorta is replaced with a synthetic graft.
- Through minimally invasive endovascular techniques (EVAR), involving the placement of a covered stent-graft via an endovascular approach.
Limitations
- Procedure not suitable for all patients depending on aneurysm shape or location.
- Procedure restricted to specialized centers.
- High delay and cost for the production of customized stent grafts.
How we do it
EndoVx provides manufacturers and healthcare professionals with an integrated solution for optimising the treatment of aortic aneurysms, combining AI, 3D printing, and digital simulation. Our solutions are developed in close collaboration with leading vascular surgeons, as well as scientists and engineers specialising in each relevant field.
EndoVx’ ambition is to transform the endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms through four innovative solutions, each targeting a key stage of the patient care pathway:

A digital platform for clinicians, integrating artificial intelligence and digital simulation tools for diagnosis, longitudinal follow-up, and the design and simulation of custom endoprostheses.

A novel material and 3D printing manufacturing process, designed to reduce production time, costs, and complications.

High-fidelity anatomical models for surgical training and preclinical validation.

Advanced digital tools to enhance intraoperative guidance in hybrid operating rooms.

Funding & support
EndoVx is laureate of the “University Hospital Health Research” (RHU) call for projects of the France 2030 programme, managed by the French National Research Agency (ANR), which aims to support innovative, large-scale research projects in the healthcare field.
EndoVx project (ANR-21-RHUS-0011) is a national consortium of academic and industrial partners to develop innovative tools for treating aortic lesions. Coordinated by Marie-Lannelongue Hospital, a reference center in aortic surgery, this initiative leverages the complementary expertise of a world-class consortium, where each partner contributes highly specialized know-how.
